Be the change
About
Carbon Calling is stepping off the stage and back into the fields, launching a new campaign to support three forward-thinking farmers with a year of hands-on coaching from our team and trusted partners.

What
After the success of this year’s conference which was bigger than before; over three days with over 400 people, we’re taking Carbon Calling on the road for something new.

Be The Change is a year long coaching programme using the Carbon Calling network of professional partners to give you support and direction for a clearer future for your farm.
Meet the Farmers
After shortlisting and interviews we selected three farmers to take part, from twenty applicants. Here we introduce them...
HOW
The Carbon Calling team will walk their land with them, sharing knowledge, asking questions and building real resilience from the ground up. They are at different stages but all ready to dig deeper, to challenge what they think they know, and to grow a thriving farm system.

The financial value of this support is over £8,000 per farm and will include:
-
peer support from others in the project
-
coaching from Liz Genever and Nic Renison covering finances, soil, animal performance and personal objectives such as succession planning and family dynamics, and opportunities to dig deeper into building mental resilience
-
grazing mentoring from Paul Renison, Cannerheugh Farm
-
ecology and environmental schemes health-check with Tim Nicholson, Sleastonhow Farm
-
subsidised soil, forage and compost testing, including support from Daniel Iddion from Re Genus
-
tailored support (e.g. specialists in wood pasture creation, vermicomposting, renewables or family dynamics) once the farm’s objectives are clearer
